This piece was done years ago and it was the first time i liked something I colored digitally. I still love this background and the way it contrasts with Jackie Estacado, wielder of the Darkness.

Hellboy is something very special in comics. Mike Mignola started it as an adventure comic, slowly went deeper into terror and took it to the apocalypse. I used one of his pin-ups as reference here.
